Rhubarb Slushy

Not everyone is able to enjoy the delicious sweetness of rhubarb since it isn’t available in all areas.

Being blessed to grow up in the mid-west rhubarb grew like crazy in our backyard. We had many tasty treats baked with it.

My favorite memory is snapping off a stalk, dipping it in sugar, and taking a big bite!

  • Boil water and rhubarb, until rhubarb starts to fall apart. Add sugar until it is dessolved. Strain mixture. Add Jello, stir frequently until cool. Freeze
