The BEST Bran Muffins

So, who thinks that bran muffins sound yummy? Well, I sure didn't until I ate one of these tasty treats. My sister's mother-in-law is a fabulous baker. She make the best bread that melts in your mouth. She also has passed on these yummy, yummy bran muffins! This recipe makes a ton, so prepare to share or be eating them for days!

Ingredients
  • 4 cup Kellogs Bran Cereal ((Raisin Bran))
  • 3 scant cup Sugar
  • 1 Cup + 1 tbsp Oil
  • 5 cup Flour
  • 2 cup Boiling Water
  • 4 Eggs (beaten)
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 qt Buttermilk
  • 2 cup Nabisco 100% Bran Cereal ((Shaped like sticks))
  • 5 tsp Baking Soda
Instructions
  1. Pour boiling water over 100% bran. Cream sugar and oil; add eggs, buttermilk and all bran. Add flour, soda and salt. Mix well. Place in greased muffin pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 10-20 minutes Dough will keep in fridge for 5 weeks. This recipe can be halved easily.
