Hot Rice & Raisin Pudding
I grew up loving this warm dish on a cold, cold, winters morning. This hot treat would warm the soul.
I have been so happy to have made this uncountable times for my own children. I love how when baking, this dish, fills the house with the best cinnamon smell. I have memories of my littles barely awake asking me if it was ready yet, snuggling on the couch waiting for it to cool, and enjoying digging in together.
Now as my kids are older, they call the green bowl I make it in, the rice and raisin bowl. My daughter-in-law now prepares this dish in their home.
This is one of my all time favorites and well worth the wait.
