Crockpot Venison Chili

Hunting and fishing has been a part of our family for as long as I can remember. Eating tasty meat that has been harvested by our hunters has always been a privilege. The tomato in this chili marinates with the meat and makes is so tender. This is a tasty fall treat.

Ingredients
  • 1 lb Venison (Cubed)
  • 16 oz Salsa
  • 45 oz Canned Black Beans (Rinsed & Drained)
  • 1/2 cup Chicken Broth
  • 1 Red Bell Pepper (Chopped)
  • 1 Onion (Chopped)
  • 1 tsp Cumin
  • 2 tsp Chili Powder
  • 1 tsp Dried Oregano
  • 1/4 cup Sour Cream
Instructions
  1. Place venison in slow cooker. Top with salsa and other ingredients except sour cream. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours. Serve with sour cream.
